Shabbat is the Jewish day of rest, and we're kicking off our wedding weekend with Saturday morning services followed by lunch — called kiddush — at the synagogue.
If you've never attended synagogue services before, please know that everyone is welcome, regardless of background or familiarity with Jewish traditions. The service includes prayers, readings, and singing, much of it in Hebrew. You're welcome to participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable, and we're so glad to share this part of our celebration with you!

It's customary to silence your phone during services, and we ask that guests refrain from taking photos or using electronic devices on Shabbat.
You may notice people standing, sitting, bowing, or singing at different points in the service. Feel free to follow along if you'd like, but there's no pressure to participate.
You'll also see people wearing kippot (small head coverings, also called yarmulkes) as a sign of respect and reverence. Kippot will be available at the synagogue, and guests of all genders are welcome to wear one.

Saturday — Shabbat Services & Kiddush Lunch: Dressy casual is perfect! Think nice pants, a skirt, a dress, or a button-down shirt. No need to get fancy, but leave the sweatpants at home.
Sunday — Wedding & Brunch: Festive cocktail attire! We love an excuse to dress up, and hope you do too. Dresses, suits, and dressy separates are all great. If wearing a kippah is your custom, please feel free to bring one for the ceremony.

Saturday: Four parking lots surround the synagogue grounds, with space for 300 cars. Visitors will find handicapped parking spaces and ramps to the left of the main entrance and at the rear of the building.
Sunday: Guests may park in the lot behind the Beebe Estate. Designated accessible parking space is available on-site.

No, we don't have a registry, and please don't feel any obligation to give us a gift! We're fortunate to have everything we need, and the best gift we could ask for is getting to celebrate with the people we love. Your presence is more than enough!
